Where and when
Deerfoot Inn & Casino is at 1000, 11500 – 35 Street SE, Calgary, AB T2Z 3W4. The venue publishes its casino hours on its official slots page. As of October 2026, it lists these hours:
| Days | Casino | Poker room |
|---|---|---|
| Sunday to Thursday | 9:30 am – 3:00 am | 24 hours |
| Friday and Saturday | 9:30 am – 5:00 am | 24 hours |
For a daytime visit, 9:30 am is the first blaze on the trail. The guide found no official hours for live table games and no published holiday hours. Check the venue before planning around a particular table or a statutory holiday.
Getting in
Gambling in Alberta is for adults, and the minimum age is 18. Bring valid government-issued photo ID. Under AGLC's casino rules, staff must check the age of anyone who appears to be under 25.
The pages this guide relies on do not publish a dress code.
On the floor
The venue's slots page lists:
- 785 slot machines and 32 VLTs
- a High Limit Slot Room with 53 slot machines
- a poker room open 24 hours
For live table games, the guide has no official count or list of games. The figures published elsewhere differ, so they are left out here.
The venue's own site, as far as these notes go, does not name a loyalty program. Winner's Edge is AGLC's player rewards program, and its site describes it as working at casinos throughout Alberta. Joining is free, and members pick up their card by showing government ID. Ask on site whether the card is accepted here.
Food and extras
The official dining page lists several outlets. The venue confirms these hours:
- Mohave Grill, a Southwestern family restaurant with buffets. Sunday 7 am – 9 pm; Monday to Thursday 7 am – 2 pm and 5 pm – 9 pm; Friday 7 am – 2 pm and 5 pm – 10 pm; Saturday 7 am – 10 pm. All-you-can-eat prime rib runs Friday and Saturday, 5:00 – 9:00 pm.
- Wild Horse Pub, a neighbourhood pub with weekly live entertainment. Sunday to Thursday 9:30 am – 3:00 am; Friday and Saturday 9:30 am – 4:00 am.
- Cactus Lounge, from 4:00 pm to late.
The grill opens at 7 am, before the casino doors. A weekday breakfast or lunch there fits a morning visit, as long as you finish lunch by 2 pm. The dining page also names Sushi, Island Bar and Wild Horse Cafe. Their hours are not confirmed here.
The property's name reflects its inn. Rooms and current entertainment are best checked on the official site, because the venue's live-music page may carry older listings.
Getting there
Neither the venue nor Calgary Transit, in the sources this guide uses, publishes a transit route to this address. Plan the trip with Calgary Transit's station maps and trip tools, and read Without a car for general notes.
Parking terms are not set out on the official pages this guide relies on. Confirm them with the venue if you drive.
Alberta law bars smoking and vaping in enclosed public places, and within 5 metres of their doorways, opening windows and air intakes.
